Your Housing Request - In 4 Steps

Confirmation Policy

  • By email, we will reply to your Housing Request within 48 hours.
  • This email will be one of three types of confirmations: Temporary Confirmation, Tentative Confirmation, Waiting List..
  • After you have received a confirmation, you must respond before the reply date stated in the email in order to finalize or extend your confirmation. If you do not contact us before the expiration date, your space will be released.
  • To receive a Final Confirmation, you are required to place a refundable $250-$500 Holding/Security & Damage Deposit with Newport Place. This deposit will serve as both a deposit to hold your space and your Security & Damage Deposit when you move into Newport Place. The amount of the Holding/Security & Damage Deposit is subject to change.
  • The deposit must be paid with a credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover). We require the following information to process your payment: card number, expiration date and CVV number . (The CVV number is the last 3-digits of the number printed on the back of the card.) If you do not want to email this information, you may fax or telephone our office between the hours of 9 am to 5 pm Pacific Standard Time, Monday through Friday. Fax/Tel Number: (1) 858-490-6282

    Once we have processed your Holding/Security & Damage Deposit, you will promptly receive a Final Confirmation email. This email will serve as receipt of payment for your deposit.

  • The Holding Deposit is refundable prior to moving in only when:

    a) Newport Place cannot provide you with a Final Confirmation

    b) You cancel your Housing Request prior to receiving a Final Confirmation from Newport Place

    c) You cancel at least 45 days prior to your move-in date after receiving a Final Confirmation.
